A plane with a steering fault closed the runway at Aberdeen Airport yesterday, the Evening Express reports. The Eastern Airways Jetstream plane was prepapring to fly to Stavanger, but was left sitting for about 40 minutes until the problem was fixed.
An airport spokesman told the newspaper: ‘The nose wheel froze as the plane reached the top of the runway. It was there for about 40 minutes, but had little knock-on effect.’
