Ryanair has launched a new route between Birmingham Airport and Marseille. The flights will operate three days a week and the airline expects it to bring an additional 40,000 passengers through the hub in its first year.
Birmingham is Ryanair's 25th base and will have flights to 20 destinations this year, the majority of which launch in June, including flights to the Scandinavian cities of Oslo and Stockholm, as well as the sunshine destinations of Porto, Sicily, plus to Trieste, Gdansk and Biarritz from Birmingham.
