Budget airline bmibaby starts a new service between Cardiff and the Spanish island of Menorca today. It expects to carry almost 14,000 passengers on the service during the summer.
The flights take off from Cardiff each Friday and Sunday and the route will operate until 31 October 2009. Fares start from £36.99 one way including taxes and charges.
Crawford Rix, managing director of bmibaby, said: ‘We believe this new route will be very popular with families, couples and intrepid explorers. Early bookings support this.’
