East Midlands Airport Parking

1. To get the cheapest parking you will need to book in advance, which will typically save you between £5 - £15 a week, but at at peak times can save you more.
2. Always compare off-site and on-site parking. 'Off-site' car parks (rather than 'official' car parks) are normally cheaper, but you should allow a little extra time to get from the car park to the terminal, as these car parks are usually further away from the airport.
3. If you are travelling to the airport from further a field, consider staying overnight at an east midlands airport hotel. 4. * Be aware that you will normally pay for 8 days parking on a 7-day holiday and for 15 days on a 14-day holiday. You are charged for each 24-hour period, or part thereof. Your return flight to the UK normally gets you back later than your outward flight. So if you drop your car off at 06:30 on a Friday, and pick it up at 10:00 the next Friday, you pay for 8 days parking. 'Foul' you cry, as do we, but all the airport car parks do this.
