1. To get the cheapest parking you will need to book in advance, which will typically save you between £5 - £15 a week, but at at peak times can save you much more.
2. Always compare off-site and on-site parking. 'Off-site' car parks (rather than 'official' car parks) are normally cheaper, but you should allow a little extra time to get from the car park to the airport terminal, as these car parks are usually further away from the airport.
3. If you are travelling from further a field, consider staying overnight at an edinburgh airport hotel.
