Passengers at Edinburgh Airport endured an 8 hour delay yesterday, after a Flyglobespan flight to Majorca returned to the airport with a fault shortly after take off.
A problem with the air-conditioning on the plane operating the 08:00 service to Palma was discovered shortly after take off. A spokesman for the airline said aborting the flight was a precautionary measure and passengers were not in any danger.
The flight eventually left at 17:00 yesterday. The spokesman apologised for inconvenience caused.
