Michelin star chef prepares menu for all business Gatwick - Hong Kong flights
04.03.12
Michelin starred chef Jason Atherton will take his food to new heights this week, as part of a partnership with Hong Kong Airlines to create a new in flight dining menu, BlottR reports. Passengers on the new all business Class service between Gatwick and Hong Kong will be the first to try the new menu when the flights take off for the first time on Thursday (March 8).
Mr Athertons career has included training under Marco Pierre White and Gordon Ramsay. In 2011 he left Ramsay to start his own venture, Pollen Street Social, and gained his first Michelin star 6 months later. The new in-flight menu reflects the cuisine of Europe and China, and will be served with carefully selected wines.
