08.02.05

Centralwings, a new Polish Budget airline will fly from London's Gatwick Airport to Warsaw and Krakow.

After the collapse of Airpolonia, the Polish budget airline that flew from Stansted to Warsaw, in December the choice of budget flights to Poland fell. On the 1st February Centralwings, a new budget airline owned by Poland's National airline LOT, started flights from gatwick airport to warsaw and karkow to help fill the gap.

Centralwings has launched a daily service, 6 days a week to Warsaw Okecie Airport and to Krakow Airport flying Boeing 737-400 jets. Fares start at £4.50 one way (excluding taxes).

Centralwings has also formed an alliance with the Polish / German budget airline Germanwings, which will share marketing and open up each others network to passengers, to increase passenger choices. For more information go to www.centralwings.com.
