Airparks reveal airport parking mystery shopper results

Airparks, the UK’s biggest off airport parking company with car parks at Manchester, Luton and Gatwick, yesterday announced the findings of it’s mystery shopper study recently undertaken at 4 of its UK airport car parks. They discovered that sign in times are below 5 minutes 82% of the time, and the transfer times to the airports were also first-rate, with more than half of the shuttle taking less than fifteen minutes.

A spokesman for Airparks said: ‘Savings are usually substantial for holidaymakers who park at off airport car parks. At Gatwick, a week’s parking at Airparks is, on average, £47.95 less expensive in comparison with the other long-stay, off-site car parks at the airport. And in comparison with three of the short stay, on-airport car parks Airparks is less expensive by £54.33 on average.'
