Passengers down 5.4% at Gatwick

The severe weather last month affected the number of travellers passing through Gatwick. The airport saw a decrease of 5.4% compared to the same month last year as 1.87m passengers used the hub.

The number of passengers using Gatwick decreased for nearly all destinations, with flights to North America worst affected. However, the number of passengers taking scheduled flights to European destinations increased by 6%.
