Airport parking company launch 'fairest' travel awards

Holiday Extras is launching a travel awards scheme, claiming it will be the ‘biggest and fairest’ - because only those actually travelling between now and September can vote. The airport parking and travel add-ons company will ask its customers to vote in 10 categories, including best UK airport, best airport hotel, best airport car park, best airline, airline with the best cabin crew and the most family-friendly.

All Holiday Extras customers travelling via a UK airport will be eligible to vote. Voting will take place until September 30, with winners announced at a ceremony on November 9. Managing editor Mike Whiting said: ‘As only customers can vote, the awards will highlight the companies really giving travellers what they want.’
