The very first non-stop flights between London and Taipei, Taiwan will be launched at the end of the month by China Airlines. The thrice weekly service will take off from March 28 with the carrier using an Airbus A340 for the route providing 30 seats in business class and 246 in economy.
The new route is the very first time the UK has been linked by a non-stop service to Taiwan, and return fare flights are from £370. Departing Taipei each Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 09:25 and arriving at Heathrow at 17:05, the Taipei bound service will depart at 21:15 (22:05 Thursday) and arrive at 18:15 (19:05 Friday) the next day.
