Regional airports will continue to enjoy rapid growth, according to a manager at Leeds Bradford Airport. Tony Hallwood, development director at the airport, said: ‘There is not a shadow of a doubt in my mind that regional airports are going to gain in increasing popularity.'
Mr Hallwood said regional airports will continue to add more flights to a greater range of destinations, providing larger hubs with greater competition, adding: ‘Over the last 3 or 4 years Leeds Bradford Airport has been one of the fastest growing regional airports with growth of over 75%.’
