easyJet is to launch new flights between Liverpool Airport and the Isle of Man. The six-times-a-week service will take off on May 21, targeting business people and those visiting friends and family. It will compete with a service operated by rival budget airline Flybe.
easyJet expects 70,000 passengers to use the service in its first year. It will use its new Airbus 319 aircraft, which seat 156 passengers, on the route. easyJet now flies to 27 destinations from Liverpool.
