KLM UK Engineering has opened a new plane line maintenance facility at London City Airport. The unit will service KLM and Air France CityJet aircraft, and is expected to handle additional volume this year from other airlines.
The move is part of a recent increase in facilities at the Docklands hub, with Servisair / Newrest opening a new a catering unit earlier this month.
