easyJet announced today that the number of passengers it carried in May was by 1.8 percent compared to a year earlier, to 3.95m. Its load factor also improved slightly - to 83.5 percent from 83.2 percent.
In the 12 months to the end of May the budget airline carried 44.5m passengers, up 9.6 percent on a year earlier. Its average load factor improved by two percentage points from 83.2 percent to 85.2 percent.
