easyJet it 3.73m passengers in March, an increase of 20.5% on the same month a year earlier, including passengers from the recently acquired GB Airways. Excluding the addition of the former BA franchise, passengers from the existing easyJet operation were up 13.7% to 3.52m.
The budget airline's load factor - a measure of the average number of seats sold on each flight - improved to 87.3% from 84.4% on easyJet flights. There was a similar improvement to 90.2% for GB Airways.
