Roadworks on Luton Airport approach road from this weekend

Passengers have been advised to allow extra time when travelling to Luton Airport. Roadworks on the construction of a new roundabout will affect access to from the East via the A505 over a number of weekends starting today.

Vauxhall Way will be closed between Crawley Green Road and Airport Way to carry out works on the roundabout from Midnight Friday to 03:00 Monday on the following weekends:

• Friday 9 May - Monday 12 May
• Friday 30 May - Monday 2 June
• Friday 20 June - Monday 23 June
• Friday 27 June - Monday 30 June (contingency weekend)
• Friday 4 July - Monday 7 July (contingency weekend)

A diversion will be signposted from Crawley Green Road / Vauxhall Way roundabout to Wigmore Lane, Eaton Green Road, Frank Lester Way, Percival Way and Airport Way and the reverse from the Vauxhall Way / Kimpton Road roundabout, but passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journey during these weekend.
