Passengers taking off from Luton Airport will be able to fly to destinations in Africa, Asia and India, thanks to a new route from EL AL to Tel Aviv set to launch this weekend. They will be able to use the service to take onward flights to destinations including Beijing, Johannesburg, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Mumbai.
Flights between the Israeli city and Luton will run six times a week. Glyn Jones, the airport's managing director, said the launch is ‘very exciting’ because it offers the possibility of onward connecting flights to such a wide variety of destinations.
