Extra charter flights to Florida from Manchester Airport this summer have been announced by Thomas Cook Airlines. Five additional direct flights a week between Manchester and Orlando will be operated during the summer peak - between June 28 and September 4.
The holiday airline will also operate summer sun flights from Manchester Airport to the Canary Islands, Morocco, Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal, Balearic Islands, Cyprus, Tunisia, Egypt, Italy and Malta. It is stepping up its operations from the hub after the failure of rivals including Scottish holiday airline FlyGlobespan.
